“An introduction to the life of Pujya Shri Jitendri Ji Maharaj.”
Pujya Shri Jitendri Ji Maharaj considers Shri Ram’s devotee Saint Shri Tulsidas Ji as his ultimate ideal. Revered at the feet of Shri Ram with a great devotion towards Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Ji Maharaj, Pujya Shri Jitendri Ji Maharaj was born on 18-08-1992 in the house of Shri Dinesh Dixit from the holy womb of mother Smt. Kanti in a village named Chhoti Bahuti near Atrauli in Sandila of the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. After his birth, Pujya Maharaj Shri came to the Lucknow district of Uttar Pradesh and started studying in the Nishatganj area and took his education here.
His affectionate grandfather Late – Mr. Chote Lal Dixit was an excellent and intellectually stimulating Ramayani (one who recites Ramayan) of his time. He inspired his son Shri Dinesh Dixit Ji to serve Lord Hanuman. The rites of his father descended into Pujya Maharaj Shri. As per the family tradition, the religious sentiments of both, his grandfather and his parents were manifested in Pujya Maharaj Shri.
Since childhood, Maharaj Shri’s father made him memorize two-two lines (chaupai) of Shri Ramcharitmanas. As a result, this rite became firm in Pujya Maharaj Shri from childhood itself. Pujya Shri Jitendri Ji Maharaj had a deep reverence and faith in God since childhood.
Maharaj Shri has been offering many pujas and prayers like ‘Ramayan Paath’ , ‘Sunderkand’ , ‘Shri Manas Amrit Ram Katha’ , ‘Rudrabhishek’ , Marriages and other Vedic rituals, etc. Pujya Maharaj Shri constructed a beautiful temple next to the Reserve Police Lines area of Lucknow and also laid the foundation for the construction of a grand ashram – ‘Manas Amrit Dhaam Sewa Ashram’ in his village residence in Sandila. Overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the devotees there, Pujya Shri Jitendri Ji Maharaj laid the foundation of an institution named ‘Manas Amrit Seva Sansthan’ with the moto (tagline) ‘Pal – Pal Manas, Ghar – Ghar Manas’.
With the basic mantra of considering the whole human society as Manas Amrit Pariwar, Pujya Maharaj Shri along with Manas Amrit Sewa Sansthan, started the effort to establish Ramrajya, the basis of which is ‘Sunder jeevan ka aadhaar’ (the basis of a beautiful life).
Pujya Maharaj Shri has a dream of building a society where mother’s love, fatherly love, fraternal love and Guru – shishya tradition remains alive, which is the basis of a beautiful life in this Kalyug. And in order to build such a society, Pujya Maharaj Shri started the divine and devotional, musical ‘Shri Manas Amrit Ram Katha’ in February 2016 , which throws upon us a divine light.
Pujya Maharaj Shri believes that the society never improves because the people who talk about social reforms and social upliftment are deprived (selfish). Thus, each one of us has to take a step forward and improve ourselves. Every person needs to abandon the rites of Ravana in him/her and inculcate the rites of Shri Ram. When a person will correct himself, then only he will correct others. In this way, one lamp will light a second lamp, and the third one will be lit by the second one and the divine light will spread everywhere. The ways and policies of the society will rise, and then only evils like Ravana and Kans will end and Ramrajya and Krishnarajya be established.
So let us join this revolution and get connected with Manas Amrit Sewa Sansthan and give our support in realizing the dreams of Pujya Maharaj Shri. The efforts of Pujya Maharaj Shri will become successful and his Manas Amrit Ram Katha will succeed, only when the rites and instincts of Ravana will be abandoned from the society.
